Since
2006, the C.A.S.T for Kids Foundation has held fishing events on the Potomac
River and members of Potomac Bassmasters of Virginia have supported the
foundation as event volunteers and boat captains. It’s a wonderful experience
for all and club members are proud to support this important cause that benefits
the children of our community. 
The
C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation was formed in 1991 to join volunteers who love to
fish with disabled and disadvantaged children for a day of fishing in the
outdoors. The C.A.S.T. for Kids Event was designed to create an environment
whereby children and adults could benefit, leaving their problems on shore and
sharing a day of fun on the water that they may not otherwise get to experience.
The
2010 Event
